Remedial massage is a targeted, therapeutic treatment designed to assess and address specific areas of pain, tension, or dysfunction in the body. It uses a range of techniques to support recovery, improve mobility, and reduce discomfort. In contrast, relaxation massage is generally focused on promoting overall relaxation and stress relief, using slower, gentler techniques.
While both can feel calming, remedial massage is more outcome-focused and tailored to your individual needs, whereas relaxation massage is centred on creating a soothing, restorative experience.

Yes, we offer private health insurance rebates via HICAPS for eligible treatments. Unless stated otherwise on our booking page, all of our therapists are registered with the major health funds, allowing you to claim your rebate on the spot after your appointment.

Yes, we do. We offer both electronic and physical gift vouchers. Physical vouchers can be collected from the clinic at a time convenient for you. Vouchers can be purchased for specific treatments or as a custom amount to suit your needs.

Yes, we do. We offer both table- and futon-based pregnancy massage for clients from the 1st through to the 3rd trimester. Unless otherwise agreed, treatments are performed in a side-lying position to ensure client comfort and safety.
We are able to treat clients experiencing uncomplicated pregnancies and tailor each session to support changing needs throughout each stage. Please note that massage may not be appropriate without medical clearance in certain situations, including high-risk pregnancies, pre-eclampsia, severe swelling or sudden onset of oedema, uncontrolled gestational diabetes, vaginal bleeding, or a history of preterm labour. If you’re unsure, we recommend checking with your healthcare provider prior to booking.

It depends. If you are attending a remedial massage appointment and intend to claim a rebate through your private health insurer, payment must be made after your treatment has been completed.
For non-claimable treatments, you are welcome to pay either before or after your appointment. When booking, we do require credit card details to be securely stored in our booking system; however, no charge is made at the time of booking. This is simply to secure your appointment in the case of a late cancellation or no-show.

Unfortunately, no. Gift vouchers are not eligible for private health insurance claims, as the payment is made by a third party (the gift purchaser) rather than the person receiving the treatment.
The recipient has also not directly paid for the service, which is a requirement for claiming. In addition, receipts must clearly indicate that a gift voucher or certificate has been used, rather than a treatment payment. Health funds also do not allow a treatment to be split between a voucher and a claimable payment, so vouchers must be redeemed in full and cannot be split across multiple rebate-claimable treatments.
